How to Revise A-level Biology: Revise with Me For a Cells Test
Oct 31, 2024Staying focused during revision can be tough—especially when studying alone. That’s why I’ve created a new "Revise With Me" video to help you power through your A-level Biology revision, starting with one of the most crucial topics: Cells!
Whether you have an upcoming test, need to stay on top of Year 12 material while tackling Year 13, or just want to strengthen your understanding, this video is perfect for you.
In this session, we’ll follow a proven 3-step revision process:
- Understanding: Spend 20% of your time getting to grips with the material using videos, notes, or textbooks. The goal here is to check your understanding by creating flashcards, mind maps, or diagrams.
- Remembering: Allocate 40% of your time to remembering what you’ve learned. We’ll use techniques like blurting and flashcards to reinforce the key concepts.
- Practicing Exam Questions: Finally, use 40% of your time practicing with exam-style questions to solidify your knowledge and understand what the mark schemes require.
💡 Pro Tip: All the resources I use in the video have been tested by examiners and students who love them! You’ll find the links to these resources in the video description.
